Behind Habla, Señor

Habla, Señor is a project of Meaningful Conversations, a ministry that equips the Spanish-speaking church to care for souls with the Word of God.

Values

• Sufficiency of Scripture

  We believe the Bible is sufficient to address the problems of the soul. Scripture defines the diagnosis and the solution, not a secular framework to which verses are simply added.

• Gospel-centered

  Counseling without the gospel is nothing more than moral advice. Every session points back to the finished work of Christ as the foundation of true and lasting change.

• Partnership with the church

  We work under the authority and oversight of the elders of the local church, equipping congregations rather than operating independently of them.

• Compassionate care

  We take lament seriously. Hope is never offered at the cost of minimizing real pain; we walk with people through grief before pointing them to the promises of God.

Ps. Ramón Polanco is the founder and executive director of Meaningful Conversations. He is a pastor, preacher and biblical counselor, and he ministers in English and Spanish to churches in the United States, Latin America and the diaspora. He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His theology is shaped by the Reformed tradition: the sufficiency and authority of Scripture, the sovereignty of God and the centrality of the gospel. Bringing together his pastoral training and more than two decades of experience in technology, he develops practical ministry tools designed for the reality of the local church, such as SermonBridge and Habla, Señor. His passion is to faithfully proclaim and teach the Word of God for His glory, trusting that the Holy Spirit transforms lives into the image of Christ and forms disciples who help others grow in that same truth.

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
